Here's a fun little video that teaches the basics of Pointers in C. I love lo-tech/hi-concept productions!
YouTube Video
The video was made by Nick Parlante, and you can find it and other supporting materials at the
Standford CS Ed Library site. Another series that I love that falls into this categoy is all the stuff at
Common Craft. Does anybody have other favorites in this particular genre?

Haha, what a nice tool. Quoting from the website:
You know, we've all been there. We want to make it work with CSS. But sometimes it's just not worth the effort. The hacks and conditional comments ruin our clean markup. And we spend hours trying to make a simple layout work. Occasionally, we have to remind ourselves that we've done enough and it's time to move on.
If you're wasting time fighting with CSS -- and we know you are -- we've got just the tool you need. Download the Give Up and Use Tables timer. We've scientifically determined the maximum amount of time that you should need to make a layout work in CSS: it's 47 minutes. When your time is up, we'll even give you the table code you need. Take three minutes to build a table. And ten minutes to get a donut. Bill the client for an hour. Done.

This video is not what I meant about creating a viral video (although certainly it is- 60k views in 2 days)
This video is not what I meant about connecting different ideas in new ways (but it certainly does)
This video is not what I meant about embracing the web 2.0 lifestyle (but I found it through del.icio.us)
This video is not what I meant about learning from the M-Gen (how does he even know about that song?)
There's so much more that makes this video "not what I meant", but dammit, it's good, and I still have so much to learn.
